Pooja Siddhartha Mishra founded the Lifestyle Food Magazine back in 2017, When she moved to Malaysia, she had a deep confrontation in my life. Earlier, she used to work with farmers to grow organic products. After a break up from that work, she faced the conundrum of how she wanted to dedicate her life from then forward to make it more meaningful for both herself and others.
Back in India, she worked in a company as an organic certification consultant. This prepared her to identify sustainable market trends, opportunities for new sustainable product portfolios, and to develop a sustainable brand from scratch.
Her life changed when she discovered the importance of Sustainable lifestyle in a book. The idea of bringing forth a company, driven by change captivated her. She didn’t know if she was an entrepreneur at that time, but she moved by her beliefs. So, in 2017, she decided to combine her passion and career- on spreading awareness for sustainable living and its social and environmental impact.
It was her vision that made her want to pursue it and make it a reality. She wanted to create awareness among people to opt for a simple and sustainable lifestyle.
Our first move was to put our reliable resources at the core of the business, as any e-magazine business should. After a year, she began running the magazine more holistically. Her team learned how to measure the impact that considered social and environmental issues in lifestyle and how to develop new ways to adapt to sustainable change.
At sustainable levels, she had an emotional encounter with a world of wasteful consumerism. Now, she is putting her hearts into achieving a new vision; she is working towards the expansion of responsible consumption worldwide, building a culture of respect, with positive effects on the economy, society, and the environment by reducing poverty, hunger, pollution, climate change, and inequalities and increasing well-being, justice, and peace.
