Happy New Year dear Eco-Warriors!!
This time of the year is always wonderful, fresh like a daisy. Yet again we have been given the opportunity of doing everything that we ever wanted to do and then some. This fresh start gives us a chance to revive our lives and allows us to reinvigorate ourselves, to shed the baggage of the previous year and expand our thinking with new experiences.
What better way to start the new year than with inspiring stories, traveling the world the sustainable way, detoxing yourself from the binges of last year, and definitely turning a new leaf, that too mindfully!
It was an immense privilege to interview Vidya Malvade an actress and the yoga follower, who you’ll find on our cover page this month. Vidya will share her experience of Yoga; how she has overcome the biggest loss of her life and how she has changed the milieu around her for good. She is going to break the myths about Yoga and prove that Yoga could be transcendental and earthly at the same time.
We also have the incredible fitness model and TV presenter- Heather, who has shared the healthy regime which helps her be healthy, fit, and strong– now her diet and fitness secrets have been revealed.
If you’ve indulged a little too heavily on the sweets and chocolates last year, fear not! We have a delicious detox for you as well as an article that tackles the ‘v’ word, and may just motivate you to turn to the green side. The healthy snack to get you back on track!
Along with promises of healthy diets and resolutions anew comes the inevitable January blues. Maneesha Ashutosh offers a bit of ideal advice on being mindful. We never get the same moment twice in life so live in the present wisely.
For some of us, the start of a new year can be accompanied by a weight of expectations and can be particularly trying, but you’re not alone. Dr. Jane is here to bust the myth and reveal facts. Also, we have many more informative articles in-store to leap up to your interest on a sustainable lifestyle. I hope you enjoy reading this issue too!
I’d love to hear your thoughts on our social media pages and website, where you’ll find updates and competitions throughout the month.
