Editor’s Letter : July- August

Welcome to the rainy season! The pitter-patter of the raindrops and the petrichor that accompanies the first rain can lift up anybody’s spirits and energy. Monsoon is the period of change. The Earth turns lush and green and fills everyone with the zest to do something new. On this note, why don’t we all grab our hot cup to tea, couch up in our favorite place, and chalk out what we can do for our Mother Earth! After all, we are what we do. Actions speak louder than words.
We, at Lifestyle Food magazine, have understood this. Our perception of what fashion, food, and fitness looks, tastes, and feels like has been of special interest to each one of us, of course, but the magazine itself has always been constant in its pursuit: to find a sustainable lifestyle in all its forms.
We are working hard to bring you a record number of trends and I’m happy to say there’s something that suits every taste, budget, and most importantly is carbon neutral. So make sure you check out our pages while you enjoy the rain and the earthy scents.
In this month’s interview section, we have Dr. LeeAnn Teal Rutkovsky, an accomplished milliner and founder of Cheeky and Teal, explaining the concept behind sustainable hats and the three pillars of sustainability.
In the Instyle section, you’ll find tips from Simone Simon on how fashion can be environmentally responsible and at the same time elegant, timeless, and unique! As you turn the pages, you will find your old favorites along with tips on how to recognize organic food and how to be in shape. Lifestyle Food Magazine endeavors to give you a few minutes of respite from worries, thanks to our many contributors still burning the midnight oil to bring out amusing and thought-provoking stories and articles and also a big thank you to you, the loyal readers. So let actions speak louder than words. Even actions as simple as switching off the lights, plastic-free shopping, or mindful fashion has a major impact in the long run. A journey of thousand miles begins with a single step.
Have a wonderful Monsoon with a hot cuppa and enjoy the sip with your near and dear ones!!
